HOW A BUSINESS MENTOR COULD DEVELOP AND GROW YOUR BUSINESS

THE Business Mentoring service provides access to over 1000 mentors across Scotland.  By sharing their entrepreneurial experience and knowledge, mentors give businesses the confidence and know-how to develop.

During Fife Business Week from 5th to 9th November, Scottish Enterprise is running a session at Enterprise Hub Fife in Glenrothes on Monday 5th November from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Business Mentoring offers experienced business people who can act as a sounding board to help a business address challenges and develop strategies to support future growth. The service is delivered through a dedicated pool of over 1,000 experienced and enthusiastic mentors across Scotland.

The key to mentoring is creating a supportive and confident business environment where key questions can be addressed and ambitious decisions made.  By sharing the entrepreneurial experiences of mentors, the service gives businesses the confidence and knowhow to develop and grow and opens up a great network of contacts who can open doors and inspire new thinking.

Businesses that are generating a steady turnover with the potential to increase turnover growth by £200,000 or more over a three-year period can apply for this fully funded service.

Marie Dorris, Scottish Enterprise commented:

“Having a Business Mentor can help you to look at your business issues through a different lens – as mentors bring their own unique insights, experiences and perspectives   Tapping into the knowledge and expertise that a mentor can provide could be one of the best decisions that you make for your business.”
